Anxiety: The Game is a smaller game I made in University with a team size of 5.
My focus was on creating the turn-based combat system.
In Anxiety: The Game you need to battle your inner anxieties using stress relieving techniques to
ward them off long enough to make it to the end of the maze that is your mind, hopefully without having a panic attack.
You start with ones that can work but don't have a high likelihood of working to find new more healthy forms of
stress relief.
I added all the attacks to the game with all their in and out-of-combat effects. Making it so that
most bad choices would have lasting consequences like they do in the real world. This is
deliberately done so as to hopefully show the better and worse ways of coping with mental anxieties.
